DO YOU WANT TO START A BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP?

ARE YOU A BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP FACILITATOR?

WOULD YOU LIKE TO FURTHER DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS?

Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada's Support Group Program has the resources to assist you in developing your group and your facilitator skills.

The Support Group Program promotes the development of survivor-directed breast cancer peer support groups. As well as providing the groundwork and basics of group facilitation, we provide a confidential source for problem-solving, skill development and increased confidence through networking opportunities. These services are provided free of charge to anyone active in facilitating a breast cancer support group in Canada.

The Scotiabank group supports communities, and women active in breast cancer self-help groups

The Support Group Program is generously funded by Scotiabank to provide support and information to community-based breast cancer peer support groups across Canada. Scotiabank recognizes the invaluable service that these facilitators provide and therefore we are able to cover all eligible participant expenses including registration, accommodation, and transportation.
