Why call Willow?

You want to talk about your feelings and your concerns.

You want to talk to someone who has been there.

You want information about breast cancer.

You want to support someone you care about who is at high risk or has a diagnosis.

We are here to listen and support you. You can talk for as long as you need. There is no charge for any of Willow's services.

Who will I speak with when I call?

When you call Willow you speak with someone who has had a diagnosis and knows first-hand the challenges associated with having breast cancer. The skilled members of our Peer Support Team are experienced in listening and answering a wide range of questions about breast cancer.

What kind of information does Willow provide?

Willow shares information on all aspects of breast cancer from diagnosis to treatment options to survivorship. Our Health Librarian works with the Peer Support Team to research your specific question(s) and send you a free personalized information package, either by post or e-mail.

Do you only help people diagnosed with breast cancer?

We encourage anyone affected by breast cancer to call Willow. This includes:

Women and men at any stage of their experience with breast cancer

Family, friends and caregivers of those living with breast cancer

Anyone with concerns about their breast health or risk of developing breast cancer, including hereditary risk

Does Willow give medical advice?

No. We can assist people with breast cancer by reviewing their diagnosis and treatment options with them, helping to make sense of complex terminology and situations. We can offer support and assistance with decision-making, but we do not offer advice.

Are calls to Willow confidential?

All calls are confidential. We do not share names or personal information with anyone.

How often can I call?

Call us as often as you'd like. That's why we're here! We can support you through every phase of your breast cancer journey.

Can I speak to someone in a language other than English?

We can arrange interpreter services for those who wish to speak in their language of choice.

Is there a cost?

All Willow's services are delivered free of charge.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm ET. If you want to reach us beyond those times, you can email support@willow.org or call and leave a message with your name and the best time to call you back. We will do our best to return your call within 24 hours.
