Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada reveals new look!
Toronto, ON, September 26, 2006 – Today, at its premier fundraising event Eat to the Beat, before a crowd of over 1,000 people, Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada revealed its new look in style!
The logo, now sporting a fresh, uplifting green, is clean, bold and easy to identify for the tens of thousands of Canadians impacted by breast cancer, the ones who need Willow’s services the most.
“We believe our new logo and tagline truly reflect our organization and help us communicate with Canadians in a clear, concise way; who Willow is and what Willow does,” says S. Elaine Brown, Executive Director, Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada. “Moreover, our revitalized brand reflects our commitment to Canadians impacted by breast cancer and our mission to support the tens of thousands affected. We understand everyone doesn’t have access to the latest information surrounding breast cancer. Willow has the resources to provide callers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions during a very challenging time.”
The new logo, which highlights Willow’s new name, changed in April 2006, also adorns a new tagline for the organization focusing on the three main Willow offerings;
- Encouragement - through Willow’s unique support services
- Education - through Willow’s current and comprehensive information services
- Empowerment – the feeling many clients experience after speaking with a Willow support staff member
Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada is also proud to be launching its refreshed website. Building on the newly established personality of the organization, the information on the site has been reorganized to offer Canadians easier access to the site’s incredible resources like Willow’s Storytelling Circle, Support Group info and much more. New to the site is Willow’s ‘top 10 list’ which will change monthly.
