the tens of thousands impacted by the disease navigate the complex health care
system and thrive within it.

What services does Willow provide?
Willow offers the following range of programs and services:
- Willow's Peer Support Program
Providing information and emotional support to anyone impacted by breast cancer via Willow's national toll-free telephone line, email or in-person - Willow's Information Services
Making the latest breast cancer information available to all - we will mail a package tailored to each unique question - Willow's Breast Cancer Support Network Program
Training survivors to start and manage support groups within their community thus allowing those living with cancer to access crucial and important psychosocial support from a trained survivor - Willow's Education Program
Reaching out to all Canadians through the 'Corporate Education Program'.

Who will I speak to when I call?
Willow is unique in that all of our support staff and volunteers are breast
cancer survivors - women who know first-hand the challenges associated with
a breast cancer diagnosis. They have been through an extensive training program
making them professionally and emotionally qualified to help you.
What kind of information does Willow provide?
Information on all aspects of breast cancer from diagnosis to treatment options
to survivorship.
Willow's medical librarian researches current journals and texts to provide answers to your unique questions. This information can also be mailed to you directly.
Do you only help people diagnosed with breast cancer?
We help anyone affected by breast cancer including family members, caregivers,
friends, and co-workers.
Does Willow give medical advice?
We assist clients by reviewing their diagnosis and treatment options, helping
them to make sense of complex terminology and situations.
We give support and assistance with decision-making, but not advice.
Are calls to Willow confidential?
All calls are 100% confidential. We do not share names or personal information
with anyone.
How often can I call?
Call us as often as you'd like. That's what we're here for! We're here to support
you through every phase of your breast cancer journey.
Is there a cost?
All of Willow's services are free of charge to ensure anyone who needs Willow
can access us.
