Hi everyone this is my first post, and hoping to find other young women who can share their experances with me or if any one has any advice. I was diagonsed on septh 8th and had a partial mastectomy with a axulliary node disection. Typing is a little hard these days with one hand so bare with me. Thanks !!

Hi,
I'm 44 and was diagnosed in June with IDC of the right breast and DCIS in the left breast. I had a partial mastectomy on July 5th and had a bilateral mastectomy on September 10th. Healing for me so far has been wonderful. No pain. I will be having chemotherapy starting in October.

Hi i'm finding the pain in my armpit very sore. I don't sleep well at night. I'll be so happy when this drain comes out. I had my partial mascetomy and nodes removed a week this friday. Iget all my test back on Oct 6th. Then will find out what is next.

I hope your test results are good. I hated those drains and was very happy when mine came out too. I did have pain under my armpit but it was mostly from the tape to keep the incision closed.
Just remember to do your arm exercises everyday.
