I'm Susan Ames and am 62 years young. I was diagnosed in 93 with lobular breast cancer, no node involvement. Mastectomy, reconstruction, five years of Tamoxifen then yearly checkups and mammograms until severe back pain in Sept of 2009 and MRI showing "numerous bone mets" to the spine. No activity in PET scans. I'm in a clinical trial (double blind) with Avastin and taking Femara and every 6 wks infused with Zometa.
